That's what Slate did for David Foster Wallace.I misuse semicolons all the time, and would like to not do that anymore; I'm a loathsome grammar nerd. (Was that ok?)
via The OatmealC/O @moneyriesPosting a highly necessary redux of yesterday' post on 1000TimesYes, the consummate Twitter record reviewer. The post was mostly positive of course, but I still owe Chris an apology. I posed the question, so did he do it? It being what he set out to do in the first place - review 1000 records via Twitter in 2009.
Well, not only did 1000TimesYes meet its goal, but it got a write up in the Village Voice and The New York Times about it. Not too mention, a Twitpic was posted of Chris Weingarten sending out the once fabled 1000th tweet (see above). As I mentioned yesterday, this is still going strong in 2010, so follow @1000TimesYes for his daily affirmations as to why we don't need 3,000 words on Vampire Weekend/Contra to know that it's a 40 min. festival of lackluster.
