(New?) Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues
Sub Pop just tweeted this. I think it's new Fleet Foxes, yeah?

…not sounding like bands who go by Warpaint and Destroyer should. One sounds like what I imagine the ambience of an acid trip of a 17-year old in 1993 going through a Doors phase sounds like. The other sounds like what I imagine the dreams of Jared Leto's alter-ego Bartholomew Cubbins (the alter ego who directs 30 Seconds to Mars music videos) sound like.
It doesn't matter which is which.
Both should sound like either 1979 Iron Maiden or be a Maiden cover band.
...The most unintentionally hilarious up-skirt scenario on the internet today.

I'm legitimately impressed. I know for a fact that I could not do this, especially while making that face. Nor would anyone want to pay me to see me try.
Lifted from a email I sent to my team earlier - subject line 'Reddit grew by 230% in 2010 (wow)'…
According to a post Reddit put up yesterday, their traffic for Jan. '10 was 250 M, and then closed out the year at 829 M in December.

A lot of this had to do with the abysmal manner in which Digg handled the launch of Digg V4. Digg, whose last traffic report was that they did 200 M in July, hasn't really figured anything out yet. So expect Reddit to continue to thrive in the space.
They also highlight some decent philanthropic efforts by Reddit in 2010 ($185 K raised for Haiti; $600 K raised for DonorsChoose).
In 2011, how many social bookmarking sites does the internet believe in?
